Once you have your imagesready there are several stages you have to consider before you images get online.

Image Title
Your image will need a title make it relevant to the image that you are giving the title too.

Description
Most stock websites will want a description about an image, my advice is keep to keep your description short and ccurate.

Key Wording
Keywording is a very important aspect of submitting images, without keywords your images will not be seen when people look for images. How stock image websites work is when some one enters a keyword into the search engine. The website will display all the images that have the keyword in its keywords. For example type in dog and any image with the keyword dog will appear.

Uploading
There are many ways to upload images normally you can upload images directly through the website. But I would suggest getting some FTP software (it basically is software that allows images to be uploaded directly to websites) that can make the process more efficient. I myself use Filezilla which is really handy as it allows me to pick which website I want to upload to with a few clicks of a button.

Once you have uploaded your images to the website you can then input all your text information. You might need to enter some categories as most of the sights like to be able to put your image in a category. Although this varies depending on what site you submit to. Just make sure your category you have selected is relevant.
